An Ounce of Prevention is Worth...Everything!
Welcome to Mahaiwe Chiropractic and Health Services (MC&HS)
15 Mahaiwe St.
Great Barrington, Ma. 413-528-2948
We are proud to be at the forefront of the rapidly growing use of complementary and integrative medicine and providing these services to Great Barrington, Massachusetts, in beautiful Berkshire County. Concerned with all aspects of a person’s health (diet, nutrition, exercise, lifestyle and associated stress levels, spinal and neurological health), chiropractic by its very nature is holistic.
At MC&HS, we utilize traditional chiropractic techniques, as well as acupressure, nutritional, homeopathic and herbal support, dietary and lifestyle consultation, bio-identical hormones, cold laser technology and Applied Kinesiology as aids in restoring health. With this overall approach combining a thorough history, consultation and examination, we can provide specific recommendations for each person’s specialized needs and appropriate medical referral when needed.
We have been able to help and support patients with not only the typical acute musculoskeletal problems associated with traditional chiropractic care but also with conditions such as: chronic pain, chronic fatigue states, fibromyalgia, multiple chemical sensitivities, digestive problems, detoxification issues, allergies, asthma, and obesity and the chronic health problems associated with it.

Dr. Nancy Bronstein also graduated from the National College of Chiropractic in 1982 and since that time has also consistently engaged in postgraduate study in all aspects of nutrition. She is board certified as a Chiropractic Internist. Chiropractic Internists are chiropractors that have undergone a lengthy postdoctoral training program in internal diagnosis and natural treatments. These doctors as a group have a special interest in helping people avoid the chronic disorders that are increasing today at an alarming rate. Chiropractic Internists are uniquely trained to detect the underlying disorders/imbalances that lead to these problems by investigating possible nutritional deficiencies, food sensitivities, bacterial, yeast or parasite problems in the gut, genetic factors, heavy metal body burden, hormonal imbalances, lifestyle habits, etc. Dr. Bronstein is also trained in the use of cold laser technology and utilizes that extensively in her practice. She is a certified FirstLine Therapy® lifestyle educator and also utilizes the ApoE Gene Diet to design eating and exercise programs to help people address issues with:
